This website has no newsletter, marketing-text opt-in, automated SMS program, live chat, contact form, or after-hours auto-reply. The arrest guide can open a draft in your device’s messaging app after you choose to tap it. Nothing is sent by the website. The listed office number’s ability to receive texts has not been confirmed.
If you choose to text or call
Your carrier and messaging app may apply their usual charges and policies. Keep an initial text brief and avoid names, case numbers, documents, admissions, or sensitive facts until the office confirms a suitable channel. An initial message does not create an attorney–client relationship or guarantee a response time.
Stop or change contact preferences
If the office communicates with you by text and you no longer want nonessential texts, tell the office in a reply or call (301) 474-3383 and ask to stop text contact. You may use “STOP” in a text, but this website has no automated STOP processor or confirmation service. Ask the office to use another channel for any necessary case communication. There is presently no site mailing list or marketing-text subscription to unsubscribe from.
Future automated messages
If the office later introduces automated or promotional texts, the sign-up flow must state the sender, purpose, frequency if applicable, possible message and data rates, consent terms, and working opt-out/help instructions before it is enabled. This page must then be updated to describe the real service. Any future messaging program must explain consent and opt-out choices at enrollment.
Privacy
The three arrest-guide choices remain in this browser tab until you leave or reload. A text you decide to send leaves the site and is handled by your device, carrier, and recipient. See the Privacy Notice for the rest of the site’s data flow.
